Laura Loft is the founder of Loft’s Music Shed, setting it up in 2013 after developing a pilot scheme of successful songwriting workshops previously. She studied Music at Dartington College of Arts with a focus on songwriting & performance and has taught music for a number of years. She is a trained support worker & music workshop leader recently completing her Level 4 CME Certificate for Music Educators with Trinity College plus various training and delivering music for Plymouth Music ZoneDAISI Exeter Phoenix, YAHT, SWMS, Trinity Primary School & The Space.

Lofts Music Shed started our delivering creative acoustic songwriting workshops for 13-19yr olds aiming to inspire young singer songwriters to develop their songwriting skills and increasing confidence using new and exciting creative approaches to think imaginatively and ‘out side the box’ in terms of crafting new song ideas.  These clubs & workshops are delivered in a safe and nurturing environment and aim to increase confidence using creativity.
